COMPETITORS

There are 3 teams competing with each other in every episode;

The teams consist of neighbours, friends, members of family; the group of people gathered in an arbitrary way;

Each team has 5 members;

The members have to comply with the rules of gender equity– 3 men and 2 women, or 3 women and 2 men;

The teams choose on their own who will compete in which game, except in the games that require teamwork;

The teams are invited to participate in the competition through a media campaign, and they are selected on the big casting that takes place in Belgrade.

Important:

Since we have chosen the teams, each of them gets homework – in the following episodes they have to look, behave and in every sense imitate the band they have chosen from the list (which we offered to them) – starting from the haircut and costumes, through make-up and gestures, as well as timbre and faces. Therefore, we will have episodes when for example the Beatles will compete against Rani mraz, Crvena jabuka against the Rolling Stones, Abba against Partibrejkersi, or Novi Fosili against Metallica.

SCORING

Each game can bring the same number of maximum points, while the last relay team game brings double.

SOME OF THE GAMES:

KARAOKE (field of pop culture music):

Each team has its karaoke track – they do not know which song is in question, but at least they have known the band and with some luck they are prepared. Having chosen the band from the list, they are expected to be ready for the challenge.

WATCH COMMERCIAL (field of pop culture advertising):

Each team is represented by one competitor.

After showing three TV spots, each lasting 30 seconds, the contestants answer the questions about them.

The multiple choice questions relate to the sphere of observation, e.g. which hand is the young man holding his beer in, what colour is the hat of the man in the third row, etc.

Any contestant answers the questions until he/she is wrong and then replaced by the next contestant. In order to ensure fair play, each competitor has “his own” spot, or the right to answer first to one spot. In the second video the second contestant answers first, then the third one and the first competitors responds at the end. In the third video the third competitor is the first to answer and so on.

BEAT UP VOJNOV (field of pop culture film):

One member of each team competes in this game.

The competitors simultaneously answers to multiple choice questions on the history of film, trivia, film replica…Their answer to a question is followed by the answer of an expert– Dimitrije Vojnov.

In relation to the expert’s reply, the competitors have the right to change their answer. The expert has the obligation to answer the best he knows, however he also has the right to lie to one question.

We learn the right answers after the whole cycle of questions. If the expert has managed to deceive the competitors they lose all points they have won.

DANCE (field of pop culture dance)

There are 2 pairs on the stage, competing in previously determined dance.

Every episode has its own dance, and the competitors have had enough time to be prepared for it – from the information that they have passed the audition to the shooting the episode.

Expert jury give points to each pair in this game

TRIVIA QUIZ (field of pop culture in general)

Teamwork.

At the beginning the teams choose an area (one from the 10 offered, for example) for which they consider themselves the greatest experts. Then they answer multiple choice questions. At the same time, other teams also answer their questions. If it turns out that one out of two other teams (or maybe both teams) has been more successful, all points scored of the team that choose the area will be given to more successful team.
